FAQFrequently Asked Questions:Can I contact you before committing to trying counselling? Yes. I am happy to discuss with you your particular situation or answer any questions you may have. You can contact me on 07936984698 or info@kee-counselling.co.uk. This contact is free and without obligation. What happens in our first 'assessment' session? The first session is primarily about determining whether my service suits your particular needs and requirements. It is also about discovering whether you feel that you can comfortably work with me. I will explain how counselling works and answer any questions you might have about my service. There is never any pressure for you to start counselling and the decision to undertake counselling is always yours alone. What does it cost and how many sessions will I need? The cost of the initial asessment session is £20. Usually, each subsequent session costs £40 and lasts for 50 minutes. Concessions may be available for students or for those on a low income. Sessions are generally held on a weekly basis. The number of sessions needed is variable and, we will discuss your particular needs in our initial session together. As a useful guideline, it is generally appropriate to begin with a set of six sessions, after which time we will review your situation. I am also happy to offer you open-ended counselling. There is
no pressure for you to continue, nor is there a financial penalty for
you to end counselling at any time. I also welcome a feedback from
you, throughout our work together, about the frequency or duration of
sessions. Our counselling sessions are completely confidential and all my records are securely held, with no identifying information included. My professional supervision also takes place in accordance with strict standards of confidentiality. All cases in supervision are discussed without disclosing identifying information. tel: 07936984698 or email: info@kee-counselling.co.uk | ||||||||||||||||||||
